Edward Morgan White, 75, Dies

Edward Morgan White, 75 of Carrollton and formerly of Douglasville, went home to be with his Lord Jan. 16. He was born Nov. 20, 1938 in Douglasville. He worked for the City of Atlanta for 35 years. He and his wife Burma were members of Roopville Road Baptist Church.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his only child, Brian Edward White; parents, Reverend Lowell and Edith White; brothers, Fred White and J. L. White.

He is survived by his wife, Burma Lesa White; brother, Marvin White and wife Betty; brother, Lowell White and wife JoAnn; daughter-in-law, Denise White; stepchildren, Lesa Reece and husband Mark and Mark Brooks and wife Sabrina; grandchildren, Kailey Robinson and husband Caleb, Wesley White and Airman Evan White; step-grandchildren, Rebecca Reece, Lauren Brooks, Tristan Ware and Dawson Brooks; and one great-grandchild, Caroline Robinson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 5 until 8 p.m. The funeral service will be Sunday, Jan. 19, at 4 p.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel with Dr. Stephen Peeples officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
