Dustin Ross Pirkle, Jr., 87, Dies
The funeral service will be Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 2 p.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Memorial Park.
Dustin Ross Pirkle, Jr., 87 of Douglasville, passed away Sunday, Aug. 11. He was born July 10, 1926 in Randolph County, AL. He was Baptist by faith.
Mr. Pirkle was preceded in death by his wife, Lizzie Mae Wilkerson Pirkle; daughter, Imogene Pirkle; his parents, Dustin Ross and Mora Ogles Pirkle; sisters, S. V. Kirby and Toy Mae Traylor; infant brother, Garfield Pirkle; brothers, William Pirkle, Troy Pirkle and J. R. Pirkle.
He is survived by daughter, Cora Lee Rushton; son, Paul Pirkle and wife Linda; daughter, Minnie Pirkle; son, Johnny Pirkle and wife Tammy; daughter, Dale Gilstrap and her husband Joe; son, Hugh Pirkle; son, Carlos Pirkle; brother, Melvin Pirkle and wife Dianne; sister, Lizzie Kirkland; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 until 9 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 2 p.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Memorial Park.
