Doise G. Burbank, 78, Dies
The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel with Dr. John Pennington officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Memorial Park.
Doise G. Burbank, 78, of McDonough and formerly of Douglasville, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013. He was born October 3, 1934 in Lexington, AL, son of the late Walter and Maymie Lemay Burbank. Mr. Burbank was retired from the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Masons, the Shriners and the First Baptist Church of Douglasville. He enjoyed his family, bowling and golf.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Burbank of McDonough, GA, formerly of Douglasville; daughter, Terry Collins and husband Robert of McDonough, GA; grandson, Brandon Collins of McDonough, GA; and granddaughter, Jessica Collins Snow of Locust Grove, GA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel with Dr. John Pennington officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Memorial Park.
