Disabled Army Vet Ebbin Earl Dula, 33, Dies

Ebbin Earl Dula, 33 of Newnan, passed away, April 28. He was born July 2, 1979 in Kinston, NC. He was a disabled Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Gulf War Era, and had re-enrolled in St. Leo University, pursuing a Criminal Justice Degree, and was Baptist by faith.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Royce Franklin Whaley and grandmother, Mary Potter.

Survivors are his wife, Raymeesha “Ray” Freeman Dula of Newnan; mother, Annette Dula Taylor; step-father, Nick Brown of Kinston, NC; children: Blake Kyndall Turner, Madison Sierra Warren, Royce Ebbin Dula, Eyan Aleq Dula, Emmarie Michelle Dula and Erianna Raye Dula; brothers: Elmer Earl Daughety, III, of Kinston, NC, Eric Wayne Taylor; grandmother, Sally Whaley of LaGrange, NC; in-laws: Sobeye A. Freeman, Sr., Michelle H. Freeman, both of Suffolk, VA; brothers-in-law: S. Aleq Freeman, Jr. of Cape May, NJ, Daraun L. Freeman of Atlanta; in-law grandmother: Lauretta Freeman of Chestertown, MD; in-law great grandmother, Lula O. Washington; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services were conducted May 4, from the Heatherwood Baptist Church, 721 Shenandoah Boulevard, Newnan, GA 30265, with Dr. Joel S. Dover officiating.

Private interment services will be held at a later date in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to a Memorial Fund c/o The Dula Family Fund, at any Regions Bank.
