Clayton ‘Max’ Maxwell Hair, 45, Dies

Max was cremated and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 1 to 2 p.m. with his memorial service following at 2 p.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel with Rev. Tim Shelton and Dr. John Pennington officiating.

Clayton ‘Max’ Maxwell Hair, 45, of Dahlonega, passed away Sunday, Sept. 22. He was born June 6, 1968 in Austell.

Max was a 1986 graduate of South Cobb High School. He received his B.S. degree from Kennesaw State College and his P.H.D. from the University of Tennessee. Mr. Hair was a College Professor of Chemistry at the University of North Georgia at Dahlonega.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Juanita Hair; maternal grandparents, Lula and Clayton Sivia.

He is survived by his father, Frank Hair and his wife Janelle; mother, Bobbie Holcombe and her husband William David; brother, Frank ‘Le’ Hair, III; nephew, Luke Hair; niece, Emma Hair; aunt, Diane Depper and her husband Jack; uncle, Eugene Sivia and his wife Candy; 2 cousins, John Sivia and Jill Mouser.
