Charles Stephen “Steve” Mitchell, 64, Formerly of Winston

Mr. Charles Stephen “Steve” Mitchell, age 64, of Atlanta, formerly of Winston, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014.  He was born on July 2, 1949, in Villa Rica, the son of the late Charles William Mitchell and the late Dallie Payne Mitchell.  He worked for Americold Logistics as a Computer Technician.  He was a member of the Ephesus Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Mitchell; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his niece, Julie Mitchell of Villa Rica; sister-in-law, Gail Mitchell of Villa Rica; several aunts, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Reverend Kevin Kersey officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 9, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
