Carolyn ‘Charliemud’ Jackson, 49, Dies

Carolyn ‘Charliemud’ Jackson, 49 of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, after a long courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born Sept. 29, 1963 in Montpelier, OH.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Lee Alderson; mother, Laurel Ann Tesseo Collins; and brother, Ron Alderson.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Ray Jackson; son, Tyler Ray Jackson; brothers, Bob Alderson, Bill Alderson, John Alderson, Matthew Pinnell, and Jimmy Alderson; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, today from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 2, at 1 p.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Kim Brown officiating. Then meet at 3 p.m. Alabama time at Garden Hills Cemetery, Opelika, AL. for graveside service and interment.
