Betty Jacqueline 'Jackie' Green, 74, Dies
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 2 p.m. from Spring Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jody Mitchell officiating.
Betty Jacqueline “Jackie” Green, 74 of Woodland, passed away Sunday, Nov. 03. She was born March 24, 1939 in Troup County, GA., to the late Rev. Vincent Reese and Euna Calhoun Reese. She was a homemaker and a member of Grey Hill Baptist Church. Besides her parents, preceding her in death is her husband, William Jefferson “Jack” Green and an infant brother.
Survivors include, son and daughter in law, Jeffery and Ashley Green of Franklin, Georgia; sister Shirley Lawhorn of woodland, Ala; brothers and sister in law, Roger and Cindy Reese of Carrollton and Hubert Reese of Snellville.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 2 p.m. from Spring Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jody Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher Hunt, Jeremy Hunt, TJ Johnson, Blake Johnson, Bruce Spray, and Terry Githins. Honorary pallbearers will be the West Georgia Ambulance, Bowdon unit.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.martin-hightower.com. Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel of Carrollton has charge of the arrangements.
