Army Vet Ted Lamar Tomlinson II, 76, Dies

A private family burial will be at Morgan Chapel Cemetery in Walnut Grove, Alabama. A Memorial Service will be planned at a later date.

Ted Lamar Tomlinson, II,Β  76 of Villa Rica, passed away Monday, Feb. 25. He was born Jan. 1, 1937 in Walnut Grove, AL., the son of the late Ted Lamar Tomlinson and the late Edna Sybil Johnson Tomlinson. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from AAA Cooper Transportation where he worked as a truck driver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Ann Taylor.

He is survived by one daughter, Cissy Tomlinson of Douglasville; one son and daughter-in-law, Ted III and Lisa Marie Tomlinson of Hiram; sisters, Betty Carolyn Tomlinson of Walnut Grove, AL; and Margaret Ann Conn of Birmingham, AL; one granddaughter, Jensen Somer Tomlinson; several nieces and nephews.

According to the family’s wishes, his body was cremated.
