Army Vet Joseph 'Jody' Allen Bell, 60, Dies

Per his wishes Bell was cremated and the family will receive friends at Sutallee Baptist Church, 895 Knox Bridge Hwy., White, GA 30184 on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 3 to 4 p.m. with his memorial service following at 4 p.m. at the church.

Joseph 'Jody' Allen Bell, 60 of Mableton, passed away Friday, Nov. 9. He was born Aug. 22, 1952 in Douglasville, son of the late John and Mary Miller Bell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Bell. Bell was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from Midway Construction.

Bell is survived by his spouse, Diane Beavers of Mableton, GA; son, Cory Allen Bell and his wife Laurie of Canton, GA; granddaughters, Kami and Allie Bell of Canton, GA; brothers, Randle Bell of Winston, GA, and Larry Bell and his wife Thelma of Mableton, GA; four nephews; one niece and many friends.
