1985 DCHS Grad, Elizabeth 'Beth' Diane Earley Timmons, 46, Dies

Funeral Services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Villa Rica, with Minister Patrick Gray officiating.

Elizabeth “Beth” Diane Earley Timmons, 46 of Villa Rica Georgia, passed away Monday, Dec. 17, after an extended illness. Beth was born Jan. 25, 1966 in Fulton County, the daughter of Gene Earley and Marie Dillard Earley.

She was a graduate of Douglas County High School, Class of 1985. While at DCHS, Beth participated in chorus and had a beautiful singing voice. She was a licensed cosmetologist and began her 20-year career in 1987 with Southern Bell, now known as AT&T. Beth was a talented artist and enjoyed crafting. She was a passionate friend, had a wildly unique sense of humor and was deeply protective of her family. Beth was beautiful though she may have never recognized. She was fiercely honest and told it like it was whether you wanted to hear it or not – she was tough on the outside with a gentle inner soul that she only shared with those closest to her. Beth was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. She was a member of the Villa Rica Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughters: Kathryn Timmons of Douglasville and Rachel Timmons of Villa Rica; her parents, Gene and Marie Earley of Villa Rica; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Rebecca Earley of Douglasville and Brian and Terry Earley of Villa Rica; her grandsons, Jonathan Timmons and Jeffrey Hicks of Douglasville; special family friends, Staci Richards and Caiden Richards of Villa Rica; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
