Lovingood has been creating the elaborate light show for 15 years. It all started when she lived in a subdivision and a friendly competition began with a neighbor over who could have the bigger light show. She would purchase more decorations each year after the holidays to add to the display.

This year’s light show went up on Thanksgiving and will come down on New Year’s Day. It takes the Lovingoods two to three weeks to take everything down.
