One student from the senior class at each of the five Douglas County High Schools is nominated by the faculty to receive the Hightower’s Outstanding Citizen of the Month Award.
The student receives a plaque and a check for $50 from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel.

- Katie Brookshire, Alexander High School
- Erin Eileen Dallmann, Chapel Hill High School
- Zachery Alster, Douglas County High School
- Shachia Ragland, New Manchester High School
- Tyra Williams, Lithia Springs High School
