Justin, Zakk are Shelter Pets of Week

There are currently 56 cats and 63 dogs at the Shelter. Some of the animals have already been spayed or neutered. All adoptable animals are listed on www.petfinder.com.

Each week, the Douglas County Animal Shelter highlights a cat and a dog as the “Pets of the Week.” All animals at the Shelter are looking for loving and permanent homes, and it is hoped that the “Pets of the Week” highlight will help bring attention to all of the animals currently housed at the Douglas County Animal Shelter.

Justin Timberlake #9924 has a lot in common with his namesake. He is a very sweet and good-looking dog and gets along well with all of his adoring kennel fans. This beautiful Lab mix adult male is ready to love and entertain a new family.

Zakk #9756 is a terrific male Domestic Shorthair kitten with personality. This striking black feline would love to be part of a loving family and find his place on a warm lap.
