Hash Brown, Whippy are Shelter Animals of the Week

There are currently 59 cats and 52 dogs at the Shelter.

Each week, the Douglas County Animal Shelter highlights a cat and a dog as the “Pets of the Week.” All animals at the Shelter are looking for loving and permanent homes, and it is hoped that the “Pets of the Week” highlight will help bring attention to all of the animals currently housed at the Douglas County Animal Shelter.

Hash Brown #10150 is a medium black and white female American Pit Bull Terrier-mix puppy. She has already had her rabies vaccination and is eager to find a special home. She is a very cute and sweet little dog.

Whippy #10292 is a Domestic Long Hair adult female cat. She has a beautiful grey and white bi-color coat and ready to perch under the Christmas tree and play with the ribbon and wrapping paper!
