Bucky, Blizzard Are Shelter Pets of the Week

There are currently 63 cats and 74 dogs at the Douglas County Shelter.

Each week, the Douglas County Animal Shelter highlights a cat and a dog as the “Pets of the Week.” All animals at the Shelter are looking for loving and permanent homes, and it is hoped that the “Pets of the Week” highlight will help bring attention to all of the animals currently housed at the Douglas County Animal Shelter.

Bucky #10059 is a beautiful medium adult male tri-colored tan and black Beagle mix who would make a great addition to the family. Bucky is great with other dogs and is already house trained.

Blizzard #10080 is a beautiful male Domestic Short Hair kitten, predominately white with black markings. This friendly little feline would make a great addition to a family.
