Toastmasters International is a worldwide organization of 300,00 members that helps people overcome their fear of public speaking. This Saturday's meeting is an Open House at your local club, Toastmasters of West Georgia.
Come to our meeting and find out first hand how we help people improve their speaking and leadership skills, all in a friendly atmosphere of support and understanding. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and there is no minimum standard of speaking needed to join. As a matter of fact, Toastmasters greatest triumphs are with those people who are unable to stand up in front of a crowd without freezing up, trembling and getting sweaty palms. Wow, that sounds like me last week as the host!
I am also pleased to announce that this week the 2002 World Champion of Public Speaking will attend and entertain us with a speech. Dwayne G Smith gives heartfelt and inspirational talks infused with humor and a great message.
Please stop by and visit us at Meritage Commons (next to the soccer field). Park in the back and come in the back door. We're at the end of the hall on the left. If you're a little late, just walk in and have a seat.
