Nature Workshops Available to Young Girls

Two week-long camps are available. The girls need to be K5 through grade 6 but they do not have to be current Girl Scouts to attend.

Girl Scout Troop 7984 is hosting a Summer Badge Workshop (much like a day camp).  The workshop will be at , conducted as two, one-week sessions.  The first week is June 6 through 10 and the theme of this week is “Water, Water, Everywhere.” The second week will be held June 27 through July 1 and the theme for this week is “Pioneer and Native American Indian Days.” Both workshops will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The Girl Scout Troop is partnering with some local daycares for before and after childcare.  Each session will cost $100 a week.    Open registration will start this Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Clinton Nature Preserve, located off of Ephesus Church Road.
