Douglas Seeks Suspect in Attempted Burglary

The sheriff's office released surveillance footage of the suspect this afternoon.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office today urged residents to be on the lookout for a man who tried to break into a Chapel Hill Road restaurant early Saturday.

The suspect had disconnected the power source at the back of the building and was attempting to enter the Wings and Chinese Restaurant at 4300 Chapel Hill Rd. when Dep. Joe Pounds foiled those plans, according to a post on the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

The sheriff's office released surveillance footage of the suspect this afternoon.
