A&E to Feature Douglas Jail
The episode was originally slated for a July 18 air date.
The Douglas County Jail is about to hit the small screen.
A&E's "Beyond Scared Straight" will feature two sisters who "defy both inmates and deputies" in an episode set to air at 10 p.m. July 25.
"Once their mother has an emotional breakdown," according to the teaser on A&E's website, "their eyes are opened to the pain they have caused."
The episode was originally slated for a July 18 air date. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office announced the scheduling change on its Facebook page.
Some scenes were filmed at the old jail late last summer and fall, according to the Sheriff's Office. Other scenes were filmed earlier this spring at the new jail.
