Cassie Lee is a beautiful American Bulldog mix female. She is approximately two years old and sixty pounds. Cassie has been fully vetted, spayed and is currently up to date on all of her shots. Cassie is an absolute joy to be around as she loves everyone. She gets along with everyone she meets. Cassie is great with people, children and other dogs and has one of the best personalities of any dog I have known. Cassie was at the Paws for a Cause today at Deerlick park and made a lot of new friends. Cassie would be a great addition to any family that is lucky enough to get this girl. If you’re interested in adopting Cassie Lee or any of the other dogs or cats, that are available, please visit the Douglas County Animal Shelter located at 1755 County Services Road (off Cedar Mountain Road). The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. The shelter is closed to the public on Monday, but open to rescue organizations on Mondays.

Adoption fees for dogs and cats at DCAC is $25 and there is a $10 micro chip fee. $35 for the opportunity to make a friend for life and the opportunity to give a fur kid a forever home is a small price to pay. All dogs presently receive intake inoculations for kennel cough, parvo and distemper (cats receive distemper) and all pets adopted from the shelter are required to have their rabies shots and be spayed or neutered within thirty days of adoption, unless they are kittens or puppies.
