Sweet Cassie Lee

Cassie is great with people, children and other dogs and has one of the best personalities of any dog I have known.

Cassie Lee is a beautiful American Bulldog mix female. She is approximately two years old and sixty pounds. Cassie has been fully vetted, spayed and is currently up to date on all of her shots. Cassie is an absolute joy to be around as she loves everyone. She gets along with everyone she meets. Cassie is great with people, children and other dogs and has one of the best personalities of any dog I have known. Cassie was at the Paws for a Cause today at Deerlick park and made a lot of new friends. Cassie would be a great addition to any family that is lucky enough to get this girl. Come see Cassie soon and make her a part of your family. You will be happy that you did.

If you’re interested in adopting Cassie Lee or any of the other dogs or cats, that are available, please visit the Douglas County Animal Shelter located at 1755 County Services Road (off Cedar Mountain Road). The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. The shelter is closed to the public on Monday, but open to rescue organizations on Mondays.

Come see all the DCAC pets posted daily at Rainbow Connections on Facebook or see the current postings on our sister page Furbabies of DCAS .

Pet listings are updated daily, however, some animals featured may be adopted prior to your arrival and that after all is the goal. If the pet you are interested in has been adopted, please consider giving another of the many loveable pets an opportunity to be your forever friend and allow them to show you just how special they each are when they are given a chance.

Adoption fees for dogs and cats at DCAC is $25 and there is a $10 micro chip fee. $35 for the opportunity to make a friend for life and the opportunity to give a fur kid a forever home is a small price to pay. All dogs presently receive intake inoculations for kennel cough, parvo and distemper (cats receive distemper) and all pets adopted from the shelter are required to have their rabies shots and be spayed or neutered within thirty days of adoption, unless they are kittens or puppies. The Douglas County Animal Shelter phone: 770-942-5961. If the line is busy, please keep trying as there is often limited staff to answer calls. However, messages left will be returned as time permits.

To learn about other animals available for adoption at Douglas County Animal Control, view their PetFinder listings on their website.

To Mr Bill Adams.....there is no such thing as a MODERN Christian. You are either a Christain or youRead More are not. While we as Christians love the sinner we are not to love the sin nor are we to back those sinners who are committing a sinful act. We should, however, with love in our hearts try to win their souls for God and preach what the Bible teaches. Which by the way, the Bible tells us it is wrong and a sin for a man to lie with a man.

I wonder how many gay teens were in that audience, who felt horror at that standing ovation? HowRead More many stood next to the parents who didn't know it wasn't a choice, who were standing and applauding next to a child who was already so emotionally torn up inside with the thought of telling these parents they were gay?? How many of these teens will commit suicide rather than tell these parents? Good move church, who is supposed to be preaching forgiveness, understanding and give support to the needy. Who decides what emotion is needy? Feeling gay, or thinking about getting a divorce, or losing your job and needing help? I am not gay, but I wholly believe in living, and let live, and helping where you can with no judgment! This church should be ashamed of itself! This is exactly why I don't go to church, and worship in my own way. They are all a bunch of hypocrites and should be ashamed of themselves.

Well said! I agree wholeheartedly. For those that want to look up the scripture, it's in LeviticusRead More 18:22 and 20:13. God spells it out perfectly what you are and are not supposed to do. If God is against it, man should be against it too.
