Rambo is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is still a puppy, approximately 9-10 months old. Rambo came to the shelter on 6/21/12 as a stray pick up. Rambo has beautiful chocolate and white markings and he has an easy and laid back disposition with people. He appears to get along well with other dogs and is very friendly and loving to visitors. Rambo will need to be neutered after adoption and receive his rabies vaccination. Rambo requires a fenced yard for adoption. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. The shelter is closed to the public on Monday, but open to rescue organizations on Mondays. The summer months are the critical months to adopt and rescue, so please consider giving one of these dogs or cats a loving and forever home.

Adoption fees for dogs and cats at DCAC is $25 and there is a $10 micro chip fee. $35 for the opportunity to make a friend for life and the opportunity to give a fur kid a forever home is a small price to pay. Don't forget, this month (July) there is a special half price adn freey spay neuter program for all kittens.

All dogs presently receive intake inoculations for kennel cough, parvo and distemper (cats receive distemper as part of a five way vaccination). All pets adopted from the shelter are required to have their rabies shots and be spayed or neutered within thirty days of adoption, unless they are kittens or puppies and they are given extended times.
