October is National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month

Why shop for a pet when you can adopt a wonderful shelter pet.

October is National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. Come visit the shelter and see the many dogs and cats waiting for a loving and forever home. There are many breeds to choose from and a number of the animals are fully vetted.

Adoption fees are $35 and that includes a micro chip. Why shop for a loving pet when you can adopt one at such a reasonable cost from the shelter. The shelter is located at 1755 County Services Rd. adjacent to the landfill. Approximately 10 minutes north of downtown Douglasville on Chicago Ave and Cedar Mountain Rd.

Come by this week and make a choice to give a deserving dog or cat a second chance at a wonderful life. You won't be sorry that you did. Volunteers are present most days to assist you and particularly on the weekends.
