Join Us Saturday at Pet Things

Pets Things sponsors a special to Pet Things members who buy twelve of any listed item..... the thirteeth is free. A virtual bakers dozen offer on all qualifying pet supplies in the store.

Come join us Saturday at Pet Things on Douglas Blvd. Douglas County Animal Control is holding a special holiday adoption event in conjunction with Pet Things from noon until 4 PM

There will be a number of adoptable dogs and cats from the shelter on site along with shelter employees and volunteers there to assist the public.

Many of the shelter pets are fully vetted, having received their rabies vaccinations and other vaccinations and many are already being spayed or neutered. The adoption fee for dogs and cats is $35 which includes a microchip for the pet.

Through December 20th, the shelter is participating in the Annual Toys For Tots program and is encouraging county residents to bring a toy by the shelter or by the event on Saturday to donate. Anyone donating a toy valued at $10 or more, will receive 1/2 off adoption on any pet. That means that for $17 dollars, you can adopt one of these wonderful dogs or cats.

Come see them Saturday and take a few minutes to get to know them and see how special they are. Also come see the new Pet Things store and all of the great specials and extensive inventory of pet related items. A number of things not carried in larger national chains  can be found at Pet Things. Meet the staff and begin your relationship with a local business that will last into the future.

Come join us Saturday and make this a special holiday season with the inclusion of a special dog or cat in your life. The best breeds are always rescue breeds. They have a special love and a special bond with those who cared enough to give them that second chance at life.

Hoping to see you there on Saturday!
