Bonnie is an amazing little pit bull mix puppy. She is a beautiful female puppy and approximately four months old and approximately 15 pounds. Bonnie loves people and enjoys the company of anyone who takes the time to talk to her and pet her and let her know that they care about her. Bonnie would love to have a forever home where she can be the good dog that she was meant to be. When fully grown, Bonnie will weigh between 45-55 pounds and stand approximately 20 inches tall. If you’re interested in adopting Bonnie or any of the other dogs or cats that are available, please visit the Douglas County Animal Shelter located at 1755 County Services Road (off Cedar Mountain Road). The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. The shelter is closed to the public on Monday, but open to rescue organizations on Mondays.

Adoption fees for dogs and cats at DCAC is $25 and there is a $10 micro chip fee. $35 for the opportunity to make a friend for life and the opportunity to give a fur kid a forever home is a small price to pay. All dogs presently receive intake inoculations for kennel cough, parvo and distemper (cats receive distemper) and all pets adopted from the shelter are required to have their rabies shots and be spayed or neutered within thirty days of adoption, unless they are kittens or puppies.
