Animal Shelter Open On New Years Eve

The Douglas County Animal Shelter will be open from noon until 4 PM on New Years Eve for adoptions only. Come see the many wonderful dogs and cats that are available for adoption and add one of them to your family for the new year.

Many are already spayed and neutered and have had all of their vaccinations. Others will require being spayed or neuthered and obtaining a rabies vaccination. The adoption fees for all dogs and cats are $35 cash or check. (Debits are not accepted).

The shelter is located at 1755 County Services Rd. Off of Cedar Mountian Rd. Just north of downtown Douglasville on Chicago Ave.

Take the time this New Years eve to stop by the shelter and give some of these wonderful animals a look and hopefully an opportunity to become part of your family.
