Vote to Support Our Shelter Animals

A vote for Tom Worthan today is a vote for continued positive changes at our animal shelter. Chairman Worthan has been at the forefront of leadership in Douglas County as it concerns effecting the recent positive and meaningful changes at our animal shelter.

The Douglas County Animal Shelter presently has a euthanasia rate of lest than 15% and dozens of animals are being adopted and rescued weekly due to the combined efforts of the community and the leadership of Tom Worthan and the board of comissioners who have supported community efforts for change.

Chairman Worthan has promised a new animal shelter will be built in the coming year and I for one intend to work with the chairman to see that goal achieved and a new shelter become a reality for Douglas County in the immediate future.
