Today is Memorial Day, a day hopefully of thanks and remembrance. I hope that most will take the time today to stop and consider the many blessings that we have in America and the price that has been paid for our freedom.
There are many who will not share in our picnics or vacations at the beach today, they traded all of their tomorrows for our today. Honor them. Take the time to remember them. Take the time to pass on their heritage and sacrifice to your children. Help the present generation understand that but for the past generations of those who served and sacrificed, there would be no today or tomorrow for most of them.
Take the time to thank a member of our armed forces if you see one today, or a veteran that you may encounter in your travels today. They deserve our thanks and appreciation. On this one day each year, help to preserve the memory of their sacrifices on your behalf. Remember them. Honor them. Thank them.
