Town & Country Fabrics Opens

Due to rapid growth, Town and Country has been forced to relocate three times in the last five years.

After more than two years of construction and obstacles, owner Chris Hedgecock is excited to announce the opening of a unique new business in Douglasville.  Town & Country Fabrics and Upholstery opened its doors to the public and celebrated their grand opening with a Chamber ribbon cutting on Aug. 27 at their completely renovated location in Downtown Douglasville, 6660 Broad Street in Downtown Douglasville.

Due to rapid growth, Town and Country has been forced to relocate three times in the last five years. Each location has been more than twice the size of the one prior. The building was completely gutted and rebuilt over the past two years only to be hit by a tornado a year into construction. The current location is 7000 square feet, and houses an upholstery shop, drapery shop, custom furniture shop, and a fabric store. Town and Country’s new home has allowed them to expand our ability to better serve their customers. They continue offer reupholstery services, but are now able to custom build upholstered furniture to suit residential and commercial needs.  In addition, a drapery workroom has been added for customers with high-end window covering needs.  For walk-in customers and visitors to the downtown area, the on-site fabric store ensures that customers will find everything they need under one roof.
