What's This Going to Be?

It's going to be a Popeyes restaurant. Opening in March, it will be one of only about 20 new "Louisiana Kitchen" versions across the country.

Construction workers are just putting the final touches on this newly-themed “Louisiana Kitchen” Popeyes on Highway 5, in , with a scheduled opening of approximately March 1.

A memorable, Louisiana-fast style reminds consumers that the brand’s unique, authentic taste is based on a time-honored tradition of 12-plus hours of marination, Alicia Thompson said, VP of Atlanta-based Popeye's communications.

In addition to offering flavorful spicy and mild bone-in and boneless chicken, buttermilk biscuits and world-famous red beans and rice, this new Popeyes serves seafood items such as shrimp and crawfish.

Other side items include dirty “Cajun” rice, french fries, mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy and cole slaw.
