With 24/7 support and supervision, they strive to bridge the gap in communication between individuals and employees so that they can communicate with each other and gain an understanding of what each person is saying, whether verbal or non-verbal.  Individuals are provided the opportunity to access the community through planned activities such as recreational outings, grocery shopping, clothes shopping, medical support, volunteering and non-paid support, religious services and more.

Douglas County Chamber Diplomat Stan Wenck congratulated Sylvia and her team on the opening of the facility. “The DC Chamber is excited to have We Speak for Ourselves as a service provider in Douglasville and Douglas County,” commented Wenck. “We look forward to supporting your organization and applaud the hard work your team does each day to make a difference in these individuals’ lives!”
