Leadership Douglas, a Douglas County Chamber of Commerce Program, has a longstanding tradition of success in our community, and the chamber is accepting applications for the 2014 Class.

Leadership Douglas, a Douglas County Chamber of Commerce Program, has a longstanding tradition of success in our community, and the chamber is currently accepting applications for the 2014 Class. Participants will get to know one another and will learn from the exchange of ideas and experiences. In addition, they will gain knowledge and understanding on crucial issues facing our community, while also attaining leadership skills to make a difference.

Only 25 students are selected each year to participate in this highly selective program. Class participants are a diverse cross section of individuals from business, public service, education and service organizations.

The time commitment for participants includes nine full-day sessions from September - May, a graduation luncheon, several evening meetings and an overnight retreat. Attendance at all programs is mandatory. Cost for the complete course is $600 and includes the retreat, all sessions and materials, meals and transportation.
