Members of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners, Douglasville City Council and Douglas County School Board met with the Chamber's Young Professionals Connection for breakfast and answered their questions.

Local leaders were invited to the Politics Power Breakfast, held Wednesday by the Young Professionals Connection (YPC).

Those who attended included County Commissioners Mike Mulcare, Kelly Robinson, Ann Jones-Guider, Henry Mitchell III; City Councilmen Sam Davis and Carl Pope; Tax Commissioner Todd Cowan and School Board Members Janet Kelley and Mike Miller.

"This annual YPC event is a great way for our current leaders to interact with the future leaders of Douglasville and Douglas County," Sara Ray said, director for communications for the Douglas County Chamber.Β

"We are grateful to have such active and involved elected officials who care about the community and are willing to listen to the young professionals in our area. The Chamber is excited about the growth that YPC has shown over the last year and the Politics Power Breakfast is one of our most popular events."
