Highway 5 Animal Hospital Opens

Dr. Cindy Osborn, resident veterinarian and owner, announced the opening of Highway 5 Animal Hospital, located at 3340 Highway 5.  Dr. Osborn celebrated their recent opening and new Chamber membership with a ribbon cutting on Sept. 8. 

Highway 5 Animal Hospital is a small animal exclusive veterinary private practice. The business serves the residents of Douglas County and neighboring communities. The staff are self-proclaimed animal lovers who strive to care for pets as if they were their own. Highway 5 Animal Hospital is a customer service oriented practice where each staff member truly enjoys what they do. The clinic offers well patient care, focusing on preventative medicine and offer boarding services as well.

The recently renovated facility includes a complete on-site laboratory, x-ray and ultrasound units and a dental x-ray machine. Highway 5 Animal Hospital also offers laser surgery and utilizes advanced anesthesia monitoring equipment in order to provide their patients with the highest standard of care. 

Chairman Tom Worthan was present at the ribbon cutting and offered welcoming remarks and praise for locating the business in a pre-existing building. “On behalf of Douglas County, we welcome you and appreciate your efforts to bring business to the community.”

Highway 5 Animal Hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact Dr. Osborn at 678-501-7770.
