Dental Services for Children celebrated their DC Chamber membership with a chamber ribbon cutting on July 14 at their new location, 5846 Stewart Parkway in Douglasville.

Dental Services for Children (DSC) is headed up by Dr. Marcia White, DDS. DSC provides oral health care (dentistry) for children between the ages of 12 months to teenage years, including those with special needs.  Their main goal is to provide a dental home for children, thus providing a place to go for all their oral health care needs and provide a referral based system of care as indicated.

DSC’s mission is to deliver oral health care in an empathetic, caring environment. They educate care gives in homecare delivery programs for children, work closely with schools, other health care providers and the community to enhance the oral health care delivery system for children. Direct services include preventative, restorative, limited orthodontics, nitrous oxide sedation and emergency care.

 “It is our goal to provide the best care for children that is possible, “said White.  “I chose to locate in Douglas County because of the need for pediatric dentistry is growing in this community.  With our dedicated and experienced staff, we are set for success and to provide services catered toward each individual patient.”
