Death, Taxes Prevail at Chamber Raffle

The Chamber Raffle supports the many community services and opportunities available for Chamber Members such as networking events, training seminars and much more.

The is announced the winners of the 2012 Douglas County Chamber Raffle. The raffle drawing was held at the AT&T Business After Hours at on May 31.Β 

A total of 350 tickets were sold by the Douglas County Chamber Board of Directors. The evening was filled with anticipation and excitement as each ticket was drawn. The winner of the first ticket drawn for the $100 prize was Whitney Baldizon. The $500 prizes for every 50 tickets drawn were awarded to Barry Tysor, Terry Baggett, Chris Houtchens and Tom Wilborn, Gloria Merino and Richard Negus. The final two names remained and after negotiating, the last two ticket holders decided to split the $2,000 and $10,000 prizes awarding both local CPA, Paul Hawkinson and County Coroner Randy Daniel $6,000 each!Β
