Georgia Highlands College of Douglasville is looking to hire a chief advancement officer. This is a key senior staff position ensuring achievement of the fund raising, stewardship and donor development of the college. This position is a member of the President's Cabinet and functions as executive director of the Georgia Highlands College Foundation.
- Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a master's degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.
- Minimum of seven years of experience with significant major gifts responsibilities in a collegiate and/or nonprofit setting.
- An inspiring, articulate and creative manager who can communicate and operate effectively during a time of growth, and impart credibility, trust, enthusiasm and integrity.
- A proven record as a resourceful problem-solver familiar with the complexities of a nonprofit, multi-campus, educational organization.
