Cactus Car Wash Earns 'Beautiful' Award

"We are excited about the transformation of this site from an eye-sore to a beautiful, interesting landscape and thriving business that is also being kept litter-free," Chan Weeks said, Β  Keep Douglasville Beautiful executive director.

"The exterior as well as interior aesthetics of Cactus Car Wash are a priority to its owners, Nate and Stephanie Smith," she said. "Cactus Car Wash is a welcomed addition to our community and we are proud to award them the Keep Douglasville Beautiful Business Beautification Award for the first quarter of 2013."

The Keep Douglasville Beautiful Board is comprised of eight individuals appointed by the Mayor and City Council for a two-year term. Day to day operations are handled by an executive director who is an employee of the City of Douglasville. The board meets the third Tuesday of each month (except December) at 6:30 p.m. at the City of Douglasville Maintenance and Sanitation building located at 8578 Club Drive. All meetings are open to the public.
