Batteries Plus Celebrates One Year in Douglasville

Batteries Plus, located at 9641 Highway 5 in Douglasville celebrated their first year in business at the Douglasville location on Dec. 5 with a Chamber ribbon cutting.

Batteries Plus, located at 9641 Highway 5 in Douglasville celebrated their first year in business at the Douglasville location on Dec. 5 with a Chamber ribbon cutting. Batteries Plus is owned by Lane Kollen and managed by Chris Hardman.

Batteries Plus provides a broad assortment of batteries for laptop, cell phone, power tool, digital camera, automotive, marine, truck, golf cart, motorcycle, lawn and garden, alarm/security and more. They offer free testing of car or truck batteries. Batteries Plus has an in-house tech center can either rebuild customer battery packs or help create a custom battery pack. In addition to batteries, Batteries Plus has 1000s of light bulbs in stock and carries incandescent, compact and tube florescent, and LED bulbs. They currently serve Douglas, Paulding, Carroll, Fulton and Cobb counties for both retail and commercial customers.

Chamber Board Member and current President of West Georgia Technical College Dr. Skip Sullivan was present at the ribbon cutting and offered his welcoming remarks on behalf of the Chamber, β€œThe Chamber is grateful to have your business continue to support our community and I congratulate you on celebrating this milestone. We look forward to being here to celebrate many more years with Batteries Plus in Douglasville!”
