Hazardous Weather Could Mean Bumpy Ride to Work Monday

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Douglas County.

A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for Douglas County. The National Weather Service is predicting a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms overnight, mainly after 2 a.m. Rainfall amounts are projected to reach between a tenth and a quarter of an inch and higher amounts in possible thunderstorms.

The morning commute may be a bumpy one with predicted showers and thunderstorms after 8 a.m. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

The Douglas County seven-day forecast shows showers and thunderstorms through Wednesday.
