The Douglasville Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) will host a free family reunion workshop Saturday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Conference Center Annex in downtown Douglasville. The workshop will feature a “How to Plan a Family Reunion” presentation led by Lawrenceville-based travel and hospitality consultant/trainer Jeff Mills. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with theme park, hospitality and travel industry partners specializing in reunion planning and group entertainment.
“More than 40 people attended the family reunion workshop in 2011, and we’re expecting even larger numbers for this year’s event,” said Douglasville CVB Sales Manager Randi Miles in a press release. “The workshop will guide you through the 'who, what, why and when' of planning your next Douglasville-based reunion!”
Complimentary services offered by the Douglasville CVB includes assistance locating and securing favorable group hotel accommodations; free Douglasville Visitors Guides with coupons, area maps and other tourist information; attraction brochures; welcome bags and name tags for family members when booking with a Douglasville hotel; and free Douglasville Parks & Recreation Guides.
