GreyStone Hosts Blood Drive March 31

The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at GreyStone Power Corporation on Monday, March 31 from noon to 5 p.m. The drive will be held in GreyStone’s auditorium at the Douglasville office, located at 4040 Bankhead Highway. GreyStone hosts blood drives in honor of former lineman Travis Allen, who died in 1995 as a result of injuries sustained while on duty.

You may donate whole blood once every eight weeks (56 days), and you must wait 16 weeks (112 days) if donating double red blood cells. Those who donate blood or platelets between Jan. 1 and March 31, 2014 will be automatically entered to win a $1,500 gift card.

To schedule an appointment, contact GreyStone Benefits Administrator Tonya Milligan by email at tonya.milligan@greystonepower.com or online at redcrossblood.org using sponsor code: greystone. For more information on eligibility requirements, visit www.redcrossblood.org.
