- The Douglas County Band Festival is being held Tuesday at . The festival consists of performances from all of the middle and high school bands from Douglas County schools in a judged competition. For more information, contact Andy King at 404.-825-7222.
- Youth Art Month Exhibit Opens Tuesday in the Courthouse Gallery, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The Opening Reception will be on the third floor of the Douglas County Courthouse. Admission is free. The exhibit features art from students in the Douglas County School System and is a program of the through its Department of Communications and Community Relations.
