Take Our Poll: Should We be able to Vote on Sunday Sales?

Several stores in Villa Rica will be selling alcohol this Sunday.

If you live near , you live about 15 minutes or less from Sunday alcohol sales. Villa Rica voters passed the measure last week and some stores will begin selling alcohol this Sunday.

Located right off Interstate 20 at exit 26, the Chevron Food Mart will be one of the stores selling beer for the first time on Sunday, from 12:30 to 11:30 p.m.

"Customers are excited about it," Henry Patel said, a cashier at the store.
