Thunderstorms Are On Their Way

The National Weather Service expects the system from the Midwest to exit Georgia by Saturday morning.

Scattered severe thunderstorms are expected across Douglas and many other counties in North and Central Georgia this afternoon and evening.

The system, which is coming from the Midwest, will also be bringing a cold front, according to the National Weather Service.

Along with damaging wind and frequent lightening, there are also possibilities for large hail and isolated tornadoes, the weather service says.
