See Noted Author at Hydrangea Festival

1. Noted author and floral designer John Grady Burns will appear on Saturday, June 4, as part of the Fourth annual Penny McHenry Hydrangea Festival at the.  Burns will be signing copies of his books from 12:30 to 3 p.m. on the second floor of the Courthouse adjacent to the Standard Flower Show. The Hydrangea Festival will be held June 4 and 5, inside and on the grounds of the Douglas County Courthouse.  The Festival will feature an Artists’ and Craftmen’s Market, Standard Flower Show, private garden tours, demonstration gardens, and the annual Moonlight and Magnolias progressive dinner garden tour.  More information on the Festival can be found at www.PennyMcHenryHydrangeaFestival.com. The Festival is open to the public with many free admission events.
2. The Chick-fil-A Leadercast will be held today from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., , 5357 Chapel Hill Road. Tickets are $199 tickets to hear Dave Ramsey, Seth Godon, Dan Cathy, Mack Brown, Robin Roberts and more. Proceeds benefit The Pantry www.thepantrydc.com/leadercast.
3. A Day Dinner and Wind-down will be held today at 6:30 p.m., at , 6880 Douglas Boulevard. Tickets are $15, and benefit the programs of Option2Change.
