Scenes From the Hydrangea Festival

This past weekend's Hydrangea Festive held at various sites in Douglasville was a delight to attend, and I don't even garden.   The Festival Market was full of vendors - many with unusual and creative items for sale.  I was happy to join in with the rest of the shoppers.

Susannne Hudson, one of the Hydrangea Festival organizers, advised me the Flower Show  held inside the courthouse was attended by more than 1,500 people.   She also received the wonderful news that last years's Hydrangea Festival Flower Show was judged the number one show in the nation.  

Besides the plants and flowers entered in the flower show there were several other categories including the table-scapes category that I enjoyed very much.  I spent Sunday viewing some lovely gardens and had tea at.  

I deem the Hydrangea Festival a great success!
