Precious Pup Needs a Home

This pet is available from Douglas County Animal Control and is in desperate need of a loving home.

This little guy–or should I say big guy–doesn't have a name, but he is a favorite amongst shelter employees and volunteers. As you can see, he loves people and is happiest when he's receiving lots of love. He is a black and cream husky mix who was born in August, 2010. He'd make a great family pet.

If you’re interested in this animal, please visit the at 1755 County Services Rd. (off Cedar Mountain Road). The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. It is closed Monday.

The adoption fee for all dogs and cats is $25. All pets are required to be spayed or neutered within six months of adoption. Yearly rabies vaccinations are also required. The Douglas County Animal Shelter can be reached by calling 770-942-5961. To learn about other animals available for adoption from Douglas County Animal Control, view its adoptable pet list.
