Meet Joy and Tanner: Douglas County Pets of the Week

These and many other animals are available for adoption Tuesday-Sunday afternoons at the Douglas County Animal Shelter.

The Douglas County Animal Shelter has numerous dogs and cats for adoption every day! Each of our honored Pets of the Week when adopted get free spaying or neutering sponsored by Douglas County Animal Control, a new benefit of our Pets of the Week promotion. Here are two that are highlighted for this week.

Joy (#10606) is the Douglas County Animal Shelter Cat of the Week.  She is a long, sleek, beautiful, black Domestic Short Hair cat with a nice personality who has been under court hold for over four months.  Please take a look at this beauty and give her the wonderful home she deserves; her patience is wearing thin.

Tanner (#11743) is the Douglas County Animal Shelter Dog of the Week. Tanner is a beautiful, well-behaved, large tan/black male Boxer with a bobbed tail.  There is not a nicer, friendlier dog anywhere and he would make an excellent loving, forever friend.  Give this beautiful boy a second chance at life with a great family.
