Meet Bison, Kaylen: Douglas Animal Shelter's Pets of the Week

Each week, the Douglas County Animal Shelter highlights a cat and a dog as the “Pets of the Week”. All animals at the Shelter are looking for loving and permanent homes, and it is hoped that the “Pets of the Week” highlight will help bring attention to all of the animals currently housed at the Douglas County Animal Shelter.
Bison (#10778) is a handsome brown and white male Anatolian Shepherd mix. He is a very friendly, nice dog with an intelligent face and pleasant demeanor. This smooth-coated, short-haired dog would make a wonderful family pet.
Kaylen (#10864) is a beautiful female white, grey and tan calico with a medium coat. Her markings are second only to her voluminous green-yellow eyes. This is a very luxurious cat who would love to grace your home.

There are currently 39 cats and 62 dogs at the Shelter. Some of the animals have already been spayed or neutered. All adoptable animals are listed on www.petfinder.com.
The Douglas County Animal Shelter is open Tuesday - Sunday afternoons, and is located at 1755 County Services Road.
